Shin Chang -

Shin obtained BA in Architecture and BA in planning & design from University of Melbourne in 2008. Uponcompletion of his study, he practiced in a small architectural firm in Melbourne, Marcus Oreilly’s architects. He then returned to Kuala Lumpur and joined Unit One design consultancy in 2009; worked for several significant residential projects, including Casaman Desa Park City and U-thant residence. After intensive practice, he joined SD2 in 2010,as Landscape Architect; trained amongst large scale landscape project, including Platinum Park K.L; has brought him a distinct design perspective, have gave him further understanding of his thinking for architecture. He begins to appreciate simple matters. Thus, he set up Mentahmatter Design with Penny Ng, in 2013.

She graduated as BA in Interior Architecture from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2007. Upon completion,she joined Fitch, London and worked for several significant clients and projects including Vodafone, Nokia and London Olympic campaign. She returned to Kuala Lumpur in 2009, joined Unit One design as interior architect. She then continued her career at SWOT design group in 2010, as intensive practice for 3 years. She loves to observe little thing around; her belief in design are always intended to attach daily life contextually. She believes in simple life style. She set up Mentahmatter design with Shin Chang.
